In order to help the freshmen get familiar with the new learning and living environment as soon as possible, integrate into the new collective as soon as possible, and enhance the class cohesion and centripetal force. From October 14 to 16, each class of Grade 2022 of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering organized an online ice-breaking and class committee election class meeting. The meeting was presided over by each class captain, instructor Lei Mengyu participated in the guidance.
The first part of the class meeting was the ice-breaking activity. The students introduced themselves in turn, shared their interests and hobbies, the food and beauty of their hometown, and used humorous or serious language. The open communication narrowed the distance between each other. Then came the class committee election. The students volunteered to recommend themselves and made election declarations based on their past class committee experience and their own attitudes. After the vote of the class students, the class committee was officially elected, the class committee have said that they will be wholeheartedly responsible for the class in the future life, for the students to solve problems, but also please the students more supervision, mutual progress.
This class meeting activities to narrow the distance between students, clear class goals, encourage progress, promote the development of students. A new starting point a new beginning, I hope the students can work together in the new learning environment, common progress!
