Promoting the employment of college students is the top priority of implementing the six stability work and six guarantees. In order to further do a good job in the employment service of college students and boost the transformation of college students from campus to workplace, on November 18, the College of Ocean Science and Engineering held a monthly series of employment guidance activities in the library B209 Lecture 4: Face to Face, Talk to the future. Dong Chaoqun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Niu Lei, director of employment, Wang Qianyun, counselor, and representatives of students from the class of 2019 attended the meeting.
At the meeting, student representatives exchanged ideas, experiences and suggestions on career planning, job interview, employment guidance, internship and career choice. Teachers at the meeting gave feedback in time and put forward targeted suggestions from employment policy, employment concept, career choice, job search skills, job search subsidies, employment mentality and other aspects. Dong Chaoqun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, pointed out that the university and the college actively integrate multi-channel resources, and strive to provide all-round precision services for graduates. He proposed three hopes to the graduates: First, establish a scientific concept of employment, take the initiative to serve the country's major strategies and needs, and make contributions to the most needed places of the motherland; Second, clear their own positioning, find the right direction, job preparation, firm confidence, active job hunting; Third, we should strive to improve our employability by actively participating in all kinds of online and offline employability training held by the university and colleges, so as to achieve academic success and career success.
The report to the 20th National Congress of the CPC pointed out that the strategy of giving priority to employment is the most basic of people's livelihood. Graduates employment work should do see things early, act quickly, grasp the real, hard recruitment, a real. This employment guidance symposium, fully reflects our college to the graduating students' employment concern, concern, care, in the adjustment of graduates' employment expectations and set up a correct employment concept played a positive role.
