On October 18, Ms. Ding Yi, part-time instructor of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, convened some undergraduate students majoring in environment in the hall on the third floor of the college to carry out academic exchanges and answer questions with everyone. Through this symposium, on the one hand, we can understand your academic situation and progress, and on the other hand, provide specific suggestions for students' academic planning.
Ms. Ding Yi told the participants: (1) Cherish the learning process during the undergraduate period, accumulate learning experience and methods, and lay a solid foundation for future work, further study and further study. When encountering learning difficulties, do not give up easily, and seek help from teachers and classmates around you. Study hard, study good questions, over these temporary difficulties, can usher in the knowledge, ability and confidence to improve; (2) According to their own strengths and career planning, early academic preparation, including: seriously prepare for college English CET-4 and CET-6, actively participate in discipline competitions, pay attention to professional research and other important directions and ways to improve self-comprehensive ability; (3) Attach importance to the learning mode of teaching and mentoring. I hope you can pass on your learning experience to the students around you, play a positive role in learning, and jointly promote the construction of collective class style of study. Promote professional learning and construction with good learning style, and promote students' learning results with high-quality professional development; (4) I hope you can come to the major to talk with the teachers about learning, talk about planning, find a research direction, clear learning tasks and goals, make full use of the four years in college, and achieve all-round improvement.
